About ACM WiSec 2020
The 13th ACM Conference on Security and Privacy in Wireless and Mobile Networks (ACM WiSec 2020) took place as an online (virtual) conference from July 8 to July 10, 2020. The event was hosted by the Institute of Networks and Security and the Christian Doppler Laboratory Digidow at Johannes Kepler University Linz.
ACM WiSec 2020 was co-hosted with the second ACM Workshop on Wireless Security and Machine Learning (WiseML 2020) on July 13, 2020 and the Android Security Symposium 2020 on July 6 and July 7, 2020.
ACM is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. ACM WiSec is the leading ACM and SIGSAC conference dedicated to all aspects of security and privacy in wireless and mobile networks and their applications, mobile software platforms, Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, usable security and privacy, biometrics, and cryptography. ACM WiSec is a very competitive, high quality conference, and is very-well attended by industry, government, and academia to share information, network, explore ideas, and learn about emerging trends and today’s hottest and most provocative cybersecurity topics.

Due to the situation with SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 and the resulting uncertainty around international travel, we held the event as a pure online/virtual conference. There was no on-site event. The virtual conference included a mixture of live streams, pre-recorded talks, and interactive Q/A sessions.
